Welcome to St. Andrew’s, Adikpo

It was established in February 1967, boys school with full boarding facilities.
The school offers subjects both in the arts and sciences.

It is one of the recognised science schools in Benue State of Nigeria, with standard and well-equipped science laboratories. 

Since from the time of its inception, we have upheld a proud tradition of academic excellence.

MISSION STATEMENT

The school is established to give wholistic education and formation of young boys through provision of adequate opportunities for intellectual, moral, physical and spiritual development within the context of Christian Teaching.

VISION STATEMENT

For the love of one another; for unity and peaceful co-existance among all peoples and for the development of the human society through human services guided by the fear of God.

SCHOOL MOTTO

The motto is Sic- Luce At Lux Vestra.  Let your light shine. This phrase is taken from The Sermon on the Mount – ‘Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.’ Matthew 5:16 NIV

GOVERNANCE

St. Andrew’s Secondary School, Adikpo is owned and operated by the Catholic Diocese of Gboko under the leadership of Most Rev William Avenya.   
Catholic Education Services responsibility is to direct Educational affairs in the diocese and liaise with the State Ministry of Education Science and Technology Makurdi Benue State, and related agencies.
Catholic Education Services coordinates the activities of the schools for effective running of the system so that the best of human and material resources are deployed for their development and maintenance.
